The China National Publications Import & Export Corporation (CNPIEC), the longest established and largest publications import & export corporation in China covering approximately 70% of the Chinese print subscription market, hosts BIBF and will again co-host this 2nd AJE with The Charlesworth Group .

Sign up your scholarly journals and resources to be part in this specialized tour of China, visiting four major cities, with a stopover at the Beijing International Book Fair (BIBF) - Overseas Periodical Show, being held in Tianjin this year due to the Olympics. This Academic Journals Exhibitions (AJE) road show will promote journals and databases from international publishers to scholars and librarians in Mainland China. The China National Publications Import & Export Corporation (CNPIEC), the longest established and largest publications import & export corporation in China covering approximately 70% of the Chinese print subscription market, hosts BIBF and will again co-host this 2nd AJE with The Charlesworth Group .

In addition to displays and events at BIBF, the Academic Journals Exhibitions tour will also include Shanghai, Guangzhou, Tianjin, and Beijing. These cities are well known for their history, culture and educational resources. The exhibitions will be located in renowned university libraries or in public libraries. Spending a week in each city, the tour willenable publishers to introduce their academic content to an audience of prominent academics and key librarians invited with complimentary admission. CNPIEC will conduct educational seminars, as well as allow opportunities for publisher sponsored presentations, on topics such as journal publishing, e-journal access, and electronic archiving at the optional seminars in Beijing and Shanghai as well as at the optional in-conference meeting with the 26th China’s Society of Chemistry Congress, held July 13th-16th, in Tianjin.

The AJE will give your international publications a presence at the main annual event for academic publications in China, BIBF, and the additional tour spreads this impact around China. The tour will add further value with a program of seminars and discussion groups with scholars and librarians.
